Where do we work and what services do we offer?

 

Abraham Kriel Child and Youth Care Centre (AKCYCC) is a multi-functional centre and one of only three children’s homes in the North West Province. The facility has been involved in caring for children in need of care since 1956. AKCYCC is registered to care for 230  children between ages 3 and 18+ years from the North West Province in a safe environment on a full-time basis. The residents include children that were exposed to poverty, neglect, maltreatment, family violence and/or affected by / infected with HIV/Aids. AKCYCC provides for these children’s physical, social, educational, cultural, divine worship and emotional development.

The protection and development of children forms the core of our work and drives us to do what we were called for.
