Klerksdorp Home for the Aged (074-529NPO)

Where do we work and what services do we offer?

The Home is a proud branch of NG Welfare North West and its doors were opened on 14 October 1972.

The Home can accommodate 118 residents and comprises single rooms with shared bathrooms as well as double rooms and four-bed rooms. The Home also has 6 single rooms, each with its own bathroom (shower, wash basin and toilet). These rooms cost more than the normal single rooms, but are in high demand.

Lodging fee from 1 March 2021 to 28 February 2022 amounts to R8 100 pm per person for a standard room and includes the following: all meals, laundry, a safe environment as well as a 24-hour medical support service.

The Home also has a number of facilities that, amongst others, includes a tuck shop, library and hair salon. Churches in the vicinity are also actively involved in the Home and regularly visit residents. Approximately three church services per week are held in the Home’s Recreation Hall.
