Focus on the care of children referred by the Children’s Court.
- Abraham Kriel Children’s Home in Potchefstroom and Catherine Robson Children’s Home in Vereeniging accommodate children referred by the Children’s Court.
- Children between 3 and 18 years of age of all population groups that are placed in Children’s Homes are more often than not an alternative for children that cannot be placed in foster care.
- The overarching goal of the children’s homes welfare programmes is the optimal development of each child within his or her abilities.
- It includes the physical, emotional, educational, social and spiritual life of the child. Caring, development and therapeutic programmes are attended so as to reach this goal.
