Huis Delarey in Delareyville, North West, opened its doors on 1 August 1985 with a view to render all-inclusive, professional elderly care to residents of Delareyville and environment. The Home currently has the capacity to provide 24-hour care to 25 semi-debilitated and 20 debilitated elderly persons. The current monthly tariff of R6 860 per month includes the following:

  • Professional basic medical care and medication distribution, 24 hour
  • Three balanced meals per day
  • Full laundry service
  • Room cleaning service
  • Spiritual, emotional, social care and support.

The Home provides mainly rooms with shared bathrooms and also has a limited number of rooms with own bathrooms. All these services are presented in an elderly-friendly environment. We also offer recreation facilities, regular entertainment, book readings and other social gatherings on the daily programme. Hair care as well as nail and foot treatments are also available at very reasonable tariffs. For those who are still completely self-sufficient, the adjacent 22 one-bedroom flats provide affordable accommodation for senior citizens to enjoy their retirement in the peaceful, safe atmosphere of a rural town!

One bedroom flats: Small R1 620/month 55m²; Medium R 1 890/month 61m²; Large R2 160/month 76m². There are also two luxury retirement facilities, Palmpark and Harmonie, which provides 2-bedroom units for hire at R4 100 per month. All our flats have pre-paid electricity. We provide DStv at a reasonable rate of R280 and are negotiated with the service provider. The bouquet is the normal Hotel and Guest house service.
