Where do we work and what services do we offer?

On 1 May 1975 Japie Kritzinger Home for the Aged opened its doors to accommodate the local Senior Citizens on the Diamond fields.

The Home is situated in a peaceful rural environment. Our tranquil gardens are beautifully kept to provide year-round pleasure to our residents, employees and visitors. The Home commemorated its 40^th Birthday in 2015.

Healthcare and Personnel. Affordable, safe accommodation with 24-hour professional nursing care. No stairs or storeys. Our employees take pride in their work and are passionate about providing excellent service to our residents and ensuring their happiness.

We accommodate 65 residents in the Home. 27 beds are available in fragile care, which include private rooms and 6 luxury rooms with bathrooms. 11 private rooms for our dementia senior people. Professional nursing staff care for our residents.

We offer a lifestyle where you can enjoy independence, safety, security and privacy. Japie Kritzinger offers individual care and everything we do is aimed at fulfilling the evolving needs of the senior population.

3 nutritionally balanced meals per day are provided. Residents in the care facilities enjoy their meals in the dining room and also receive tea and snacks three times daily, all included in the monthly fee. Retirement village residents are welcome to order meals on ad hoc basis, to suit their lifestyle.

Laundry is taken care of on the premises and cleaning services are provided daily.

Lifestyle enrichment programmes available. Our physically and mentally frail residents have a tailor-made programme to meet their special needs. Relaxed recreation opportunities available weekly.

Religious services. – Church services from various denominations are held every week. Professional spiritual and emotional care of our residents.

The retirement village has 35 single and double-bedroom units. One of the great advantages is that we retain responsibility for the ongoing maintenance of the home facilities.
