Where do we work and what services do we offer?
Koster Home for Elderly Persons in the North West Province is situated in a small, peaceful rural town, which mainly consists of farming and a few businesses. The nearest large town to us is Rustenburg.
The Home has already existed since 1 November 1984. We have 3 sections in which we care for 60 residents. Corridor A are self-sufficient and B are semi self-sufficient units and in corridor C we care of our frail elderly persons.
The lodging fee of R8 650 per person per month and R9 145 for a room with an en-suite bathroom, for the period 1 March 2022 to 28 February 2023 includes the following: 3x balanced meals per day, laundry care, house-cleaning services and 24-hour nursing care services. Persons that can no longer care for themselves and earn less than a certain income can qualify for a State subsidy.
We have 14 apartments available for self-sufficient elderly residents. These residents are visited regularly by the nursing staff and they can also take part in any activities the Home has to offer.
