Where do we work and what services do we offer?

Silwerjare’s doors were opened on 2 January 1980 and the first 32 elderly persons were taken in. Since 1998 several improvements and expansions have been done to enlarge the home. The home houses approximately 48 elderly persons in rooms where some have their own bathroom facilities. The retirement village has 44 one and two bedroom apartments.

Lodging fees amount to between R6 825 and R7 950 pm per person from 1 March 2020 to 28 February 2021, and includes the following: all meals, laundry, house-cleaning services, a safe environment as well as a 24-hour medical support service and free hair salon facilities.
